To accommodate Jacksonville's Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) rapid growth, design architect Gensler partnered with the investment software firm to design a headquarters that consolidates multiple locations and adds more than 500 local jobs.

The recently opened 12-story, 300,000-square-foot office is targeting LEED Platinum and WELL Silver. The design team specified Hunter Douglas Architectural's RB 500+ automated roller shades to support these efficiency goals throughout the building. The intelligent systems, controlled by Somfy's animeo total solar management solution, include sun sensors on the roof and feature our proprietary GlacierScreen+ fabric.

In addition, the headquarters is planning to reduce its indoor water use by 48% and is energy efficient — with 100% green power and carbon offsets. The building is also redundant with three smaller generators that will supply 100% emergency power for up to 72 hours during and following a storm event.
