Hunter Douglas Inc. warrants that its contract products (excluding fabrics & vertical track) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for so long as the original purchaser owns the product, PROVIDED THAT SUCH PRODUCTS WERE: (1) purchased after May 15, 1992; (2) properly installed in commercial, institutional or multi-tenant facilities; and (3) made or assembled exclusively from Hunter Douglas materials and components.

Fabrics and cords used in Hunter Douglas window coverings are so warranted for a period of three years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Exceptions apply to Silhouette FR (2 years), Vignette FR (2 years), & Roller Shades (5 years). Contract Vertical tracks are so warranted for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Exceptions apply to Contract S-2000, Permatrack, & Specialty tracks (3 years).

The obligation of Hunter Douglas and its distributors is limited to repair or replacement of the window treatments or components found to be defective and excludes shipping charges and labor costs for measuring and installation. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts. This warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, exposure to the elements, misuse, abuse, normal wear & tear, motorized devices or failure to follow Hunter Douglas instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. For example, and without limiting the scope of any of the foregoing exclusions, Hunter Douglas does not warrant aluminum blinds damaged from ultrasonic cleaning. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the window treatment and reinstallation in the same or another window.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Hunter Douglas or its distributors be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. To obtain warranty service, contact Hunter Douglas Contract Services. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
